Superpower without a cause or cause without a superpower?
Article Abstract:
A discussion as to which between the European and Asia-Pacific regions will be the next superpower is made. Russia's political and economic situation makes it apt for integration with the European common market, as the Asia- Pacific area must prepare for the integration of the South American states.

The political and socio-economic situation in Europe has worsened three years after the collapse of communism. Many different nationalities and ethnic groups now assert their political identities and try to outdo each other.
