Article Abstract:

An analysis of the container shipping industry, which has cut the risks and costs of shipping goods around the world, and how it could be exploited by terrorists and used to move terrorist devices, such as bombs or nuclear devices, around the world. It is argued that the first challenge in monitoring container transport is one of scale, with 48 million full containers carrying about 90% of the world's general cargo passing through the planet's seaports every year. The second challenge in monitoring container transport is that of complexity, as working out who originally sent what container to where can be difficult to ascertain.

Article Abstract:

The International Court of Justice in its latest judgment reaffirms a range of important rules, especially those for protecting the civilians in conflict as millions died following the resurgence of fighting in 1998. Greater stability was provided by a transitional government and a substantial UN peacekeeping force and there are modest sign of economic recovery observed, as efforts were taken to dealt with armed groups.

Energy security and climate security are two issues that will dominate global politics for the foreseeable future. The single most urgent priority in meeting the twin goals of energy security and climate security is to invest in accelerating the deployment of advanced coal technologies with carbon sequestration and storage.
