The grand national strategy

The author believes that objective of a national strategy should be specific and China must strategize on global scale strategies, which should be clear and not vague. He states that China should focus on moving towards west and discusses ways in which China should deal with various neighboring countries in the region.

War against Taiwan: the motive forces for reform, prosperity, and power
Article Abstract:
A suggestion that the Taiwan issue must be viewed in terms of the mainlandEs politics and state system instead of as an issue to be resolved militarily is presented. The crisis should be resolved by political reform through democratization of the political system, which would make China a major world power.

The author expresses his sadness to see Chinese applauding 9//11 incident of United States. He questions the civilized behavior of Chinese people because they take pleasure in watching others being killed and have no respect for other people's lives.
