U.S., North Korea may hold talks on North's missile sales, MTCR status
Article Abstract:
North Korea has agreed to hold talks with the US on abstaining from missile sales and entering the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR). US conditions require that the MTCR member countries should not possess missiles above the Regime's 500-kilogram/300-kilogram threshold. The Regime does not intervene in national space programs if they refrain from producing delivery systems for weapons of mass destruction. The US State Department believes that US emergency food aid to North Korea may motivate it to participate in the missile talks.

U.S., North Korea resolve dispute over supplier of nuclear reactors
Article Abstract:
North Korea and the U.S. came to an agreement on June 13, 1995 according to which the United States will remain the point of contact and a US firm will function as the 'program coordinator' for the North Korean's reactor project. It appears that the US will have some design control over the reactor, though the Korean Peninsula Energy Development Organization will be allowed to select the type of reactor that is to be constructed.
