Understanding the low in terms of the high
Article Abstract:
American art and cultural canvas depicts two divergent trends of classical and erotic representation in a secular and comparatively freer society. The influence of immoral and erotic art on the cultural elite and therefore on popular culture is discussed. Spiritual analysis of art demands aesthetic interpretation with a philosophical appreciation. The theories of Paul Elmer More and Eric Voegelin are related to America's intellectual culture and to less elite forms of art and entertainment.

Understanding riots
Article Abstract:
A research study attempts to explain the nature of riots and the possible ways of preventing it. Riots are traditionally attributed to political assassinations, unpopular jury verdicts or other dramatic events. The causes of social rage, such as racism, poverty, economic difficulties, and the reasons behind the destructive behavior are essential to the understanding of riots. However, another approach for explaining riots is presented.
