Article Abstract:
The author argues that the United States government seemed surprised at how quickly the Taliban government fell and seems to be unprepared to help set up a western-friendly government and move on in the War on Terrorism. He concludes that the U.S. needs to end its efforts in Afghanistan and move on to tracking Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda.
