The authors discuss the results of a study of the psychological safety of a cholesterol-lowering diet in 8- to 10-year old children over a three-year period. No adverse effects in terms of academic function, psychological symptoms, or family function were discovered.

An intervention study evaluates a decision making aid for parents considering childhood immunizations. The findings suggested that an antenatal decision aid might be beneficial in overcoming the problem of low immunization uptake.
