A comparison of staff acceptability of immediate versus delayed verbal feedback in staff training
Article Abstract:
A study was made on staff acceptability of immediate versus delayed verbal feedback within a staff training program for human service personnel. The results indicated that majority of staff preferred a type of feedback. All of those who have a preference favor immediate over delayed feedback. Based on the results, staff trainers and related supervisory personnel should use immediate feedback in staff training programs when staff acceptability is taken into consideration.
