Addiction-risk and aggressive/criminal behavior in adolescence: influence of family, school and peers
Article Abstract:
Adolescents with addiction-risk and aggressive/criminal behavior perceive family and school more negatively than normal adolescents. However, their perception of peers is more positive than adolescents without these behavioral problems. The behavioral problems of both boys and girls are equally related to negative perception of the social support systems. However, problems at school are more effective predictors of behavioral problems for boys. On the other hand, problems at home predict behavioral problems for girls.
