Adolescent impulsivity predicts adult dominance attainment in male vervet monkeys
Article Abstract:
The effects of behavioral, morphological, neurobiological and developmental characteristics of adolescent male vervets in predicting later dominance attainment are examined. The results indicated that body weight, adolescent impulsivity and levels of 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA) and homovanillic acid (HVA) in CSF predicted adult dominance attainment.

Effect of amino acids on cryopreservation of cynomolgus monkey (Macaca fascicularis) sperm
Article Abstract:
A report on the effects of three amino acids (proline, glutamine and glycine) added to the freezing medium Tes-Tris-egg yolk for cryopreservation of cynomolgus monkey is presented. This is the first report of its kind, and results imply that adding a limited amount of amino acids to the freezing media is useful for freezing cynomolgus monkey sperm.

Approach to a social stranger is associated with low central nervous system serotonergic responsivity in female cynomolgus monkeys (Macaca fascicularis)
Article Abstract:
Relative impulsivity of behavioral challenge when approaching social stranger, as opertionalized by the intruder challenge, in female cynomolgus monkeys (Macaca fascicularis) are assessed. Its association with central nervous system (CNS) serotonergic activity is analyzed.
