Risk principle of case classification in correctional treatment: A meta -analytic investigation
Article Abstract:
The first exhaustive meta-analytic investigation of the risk principle and its effects on correctional treatment program effectiveness is studied. The risk principle is much stronger for female and young offenders and reveals moderate support for its utility as results are affected by the reporting practices used in the study.

The importance of staff practice in delivering effective correctional treatment: a meta-analytic review of core correctional practice
Article Abstract:
The role of correctional practices in reducing recidivism is examined and provides strong preliminary evidence regarding their effectiveness. The results of the meta-analysis conducted shows that it has implications for both applied and research-oriented issues.

The effectiveness of relapse prevention with offenders: a meta-analys
Article Abstract:
A meta analysis of 40 tests of relapse prevention treatment was conducted. Certain elements of the relapse prevention model yielded stronger effects than others.
