Another decade of social scientific work on sex work: a review of research, 1990-2000
Article Abstract:
Most research about sex work in the last decade of the 20th century is about sex rather than work. Many researchers fail to differentiate among sex workers on the basis of routines, relations, conditions, and contexts, and prostitution is overwhelmingly associated with negative features despite evidence that they have limited relevance for many sex workers.

Sexual behavior and illicit drug use
Article Abstract:
Sexual behavior in drug users varies according to drug subculture, the drug used, and the need to maintain addiction. Most currently available data is on heroin and crack cocaine users and tends to show significant support for the spread of injection-related pathogens and sexually transmitted diseases.
