Research is presented concerning the assessment and study of 2 groups of young men with developmental receptive language disorders and with autism. The 2 groups have been studied regularly from the age of 7.

Adult outcome for children with autism
Article Abstract:
A large group of individuals meeting the criteria for autism in childhood were followed up as adults in this study. The study showed that only a minority of individuals achieved high level of independence, most of them remained dependent on parents and support system.
