The diagnostic validity of the criteria for binge eating disorder
Article Abstract:
A study to investigate the validity of criteria for the diagnosis of binge eating disorder (BED) is conducted. Results indicate that the evidence regarding diagnostic criteria for BED is mixed and suggests a broadening of certain diagnostic criteria.

Article Abstract:
The race and gender differences in the demographic and socioeconomic determinants of frequency of binge eating are investigated. The frequency of binge eating is highest among adults younger than 40 years.
