Article Abstract:
The article describes the distinctive features of the Chinese work unity and hypothesizes a negative relationship between the strength of the worker's bonds to his or her work unit and the likelihood of official identification as a criminal. The author concludes that workers with strong bonds to the work unit are at a significantly lower risk of becoming official criminals than those with weaker bonds.
