Pubertal timing, sexual behavior and self-reported depression in middle adolescence
Article Abstract:
A classroom survey was conducted, with the population sample of 17,082 girls and 15,922 boys aged between 14 and 16, to analyze the associations between pubertal timing, sexual activity and self-reported depression. The result from this study reveals that self-reported depression was associated with early puberty and intimate sexual relationship among girls, and the experience of intercourse is the reason among boys.

Brief report: Delinquent behavior and depression in middle adolescence: A Finnish community sample
Article Abstract:
A survey is conducted among the Finnish community in the age group of 14 to 16 years who participated in the School Health Promotion study. The outcome shows that there is a strong relationship between delinquency and depression, thus a clinical treatment is essential for delinquent adolescents.
