Young, black, and female: the challenge of weaving an identity
Article Abstract:
Analysis of identity and personal salience of identity domains shows that racial identity is the most salient source of identity in late adolescent African-American women. The identity domains of gender, relationships, sexual orientation, career, religious and political beliefs are important sources of identity. The quality of strength is a major part of the women's self-definition. However, gender as an identity source is less salient than it appears.

Male adolescent sex offenders against children: similarities and differences between those offenders with and those without a history of sexual abuse
Article Abstract:
Parental absence or loss is the key characteristic in which male adolescent sex offenders against children with and without a history of sexual abuse differ from one another. A history of abuse can only provide an explanation for the sexual behaviour of some male adolescent sex offenders against children.
