On the identification of patterns of substances abuse with the MMP1-A
Article Abstract:
The Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMP1) is commonly used to evaluate individuals with substance abuse disorders. The Alcohol/Drug Problem Proneness scale (PRO) scale was developed to identify individuals with a potential for substance abuse. Contributions of specific scales of the MMP-Adolescent (MMP-A) to the classification of 180 adolescent substance abusers have been evaluated. The results showed that the MacAndrew Alcoholism-Revised, depression, psychopathic deviant, mania, hysteria, PRO and ACK scales contributed to the classification into three groups, resulting in the correct classification of 79.4% of cases.

Rating scales for measuring the interpersonal circle in forensic psychiatric patients
Article Abstract:
Nurses' ratings of the social behavior of hospitalized male forensic psychiatric patients using a chart of interpersonal reactions in closed living environments (CIRCLE), reflects a circular arrangement. The interpersonal circle is thus seen as a structural model of interpersonal behavior. The scales constructed meet the geometric requirements of the circumplex structure of interpersonal styles. CIRCLE scales may promote risk assessment, treatment planning, and evaluating personality disorders in forensic psychiatric patients.
