Categories and continua of destructive and constructive marital conflict tactics from the perspective of U.S. and Welsh children
Article Abstract:
A comparison of US and Welsh children's responses to parental conflict shows that with the exception of calm discussion, classifications of conflict tactics did not differ between cultures, parent gender, or child gender or age. Conflict tactics were classified using the emotional security hypothesis.

Siblings' differential experiences of marital conflict and differences in psychological adjustment
Article Abstract:
Differences in exposure to, appraisals of, and impacts of marital conflict on siblings are examined. Variations in exposure to marital conflict and variations in levels of self-blame correlated with siblings' behavioral conduct and depressed mood.

Article Abstract:
Marital conflict strategies are evaluated in relation to the spouses' psychological distress levels at home on basis of diary reports. There is link between psychological distress and marital conflict expressions.
