Anorexia nervoas and celiac disease: two case reports
Article Abstract:
Two case studies of female patients with both anorexia nervosa and celiac disease indicate that this comorbidity could be casual or could show a relevant clinical link. In the first case, the diagnosis of anorexia nervosa was made after that of celiac disease, while in the second case, the diagnosis of celiac disease followed that of anorexia nervosa. In the latter case, celiac disease may have had a subclinical presentation and there may have been a delay in diagnosis.
