Commentary on "group interventions for patients with cancer and HIV disease"
Article Abstract:
The studies on group interventions for patients with cancer and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) disease cover many aspects, but attention should also be given to certain issues like the follow-up of assessment which will assist in determining the lasting impact of psychosocial benefits and biological changes that impact health outcome as well as the information related to the doses and training, experience and orientation of therapists. More efforts should be taken for studying certain issues related to the social aspects, biological, disease, treatment and psychological factors.

Commentary on "group interventions for patients with cancer and HIV disease"
Article Abstract:
The studies on group intervention for patients with cancer and HIV disease have been very useful and can be considered as benchmark for further studies, but currently it is important to rethink the research strategies considering the future. It is seen that very little knowledge of the things that are optical in group therapies, the process, the importance of the context and conditions is known and the current methodologies will not provide the required solution, thus it is important to focus on interview-style investigations.
