Confidentiality and privileged communication in group psychotherapy
Article Abstract:
Confidentiality is fundamental to all forms of psychotherapy but confidentiality in group psychotherapy is more complicated than in individual therapy as self-disclosure is at the core of group therapy and there are numerous people hearing the disclosures. The major considerations and dilemmas on confidentiality in group psychotherapy are discussed and research on confidentiality in groups is reviewed along with common ethical dilemmas.

Ethical issues in recordkeeping in group psychotherapy
Article Abstract:
Numerous ethical issues regarding the keeping of records in group psychotherapy are discussed, particularly those activities concerning with creating, retaining, storing, releasing, and disposing of them. The main problem for the group therapist is whether to keep records separately for each individual group member or to keep one record for the entire group, while individual record for each individual is recommended.

The ethical group psychotherapist
Article Abstract:
Two-part special series addressing how the group psychotherapists can address the ethical problems and dilemmas in their everyday practice in a way that leads to an ethical course of conduct is presented. The group psychotherapists with proper ethical and legal knowledge along with technical skills can overcome these issues easily.
