Contributions of disease severity and perceptions of primary and secondary control to the prediction of psychosocial adjustment to Parkinson's disease
Article Abstract:
The Parkinson disease (PD) related disease severity is the combination of functional assessments of the impairments and activity limitations. The degree to which the severity of PD and perceptions of primary and secondary control over PD predicted psychosocial adjustment was determined by interviewing seventy four people with Parkinson's disease.

Correlates of functional disability in patients with postural tachycardia syndrome: preliminary cross-sectional findings

The postural tachycardia syndrome (POTS) is a clinical syndrome of orthostatic intolerance characterized by significant functional limitations. The relationship between the psychological factors and the functional disabilities experienced by the patients with POTS are given.
