Cultural differences in young children's vulnerability to injuries: a risk and protection perspective
Article Abstract:
The major reason found in the United States, for young children getting crippled and their death, is the injuries, which could be prevented, and also the cultural standards may ease out or increase the impact of specific risk mechanisms. Moreover, the pediatric injury risk and the protective elements appear to function in close coordination with cultural processes.

Statistical power of articles published in three health psychology-related journals
Article Abstract:
This study analyzes articles from three popular journals in the field of health psychology to examine the statistical power used to determine the existence of effects. Results indicate that although inadequate statistical power was used to evaluate small effects, sufficient power was used to detect medium and large effects.

Research concerning exercise and mood finds that 10-30 minute bouts of moderate aerobic exercise is associated with reduced levels of fatigue, confusion, and overall negative mood. How his study impacts current exercise recommendations is addressed.
