Developing a dynamic research strategy for the economic psychology study of taxation
Article Abstract:
Taxation and tax evasion studies conducted by Kazemier and Van Eck, Cowell and Elffers were examined with respect to theory, methodology and analyses, with the aim of developing a dynamic research strategy for studying taxation from an economic psychological viewpoint. Based on the shortcomings and problems encountered by these studies, it was concluded that a new research paradigm should be developed for taxation studies. The Dynamic Process Tracing Approach is seen as the appropriate vehicle for studying this subject more throroughly and adequately.

A model for the effects of psychological pricing in Gabor-Granger price studies
Article Abstract:
Consumer price sensitivity in the context of the Gabor-Granger price experiments were shown to be sensitive to a number of psychological cues that inform consumers as to the quality of the good, potential risk of the purchase and the effects of psychological cues on the consumer choice model at the disaggregate level. The behavior is governed by the adaptation level and transaction utility theories, wherein the quality of information dictates the level of response of the consumer.

Stackelberg reasoning in mixed-motive games: an experimental investigation
Article Abstract:
A Stackelberg heuristic developed to study the decision making of agents in Stackelberg-soluble games showed that all of the agents adopted Stackelberg strategies in such games. The choice of strategies are governed by joint payoff maximization and strategic dominance. Non-Stackelberg-soluble games were given a strategy that relies on the fulfillment of a double, asymmetric Nash equilibrium.
