Developmental, structural, and clinical approach to narcissistic and antisocial personalities
Article Abstract:
Antisocial and narcissistic personality disorders are related as endpoints on a spectrum. They share an underlying borderline level of personality organization and pathological narcissism. Besides sharing a number of clinical features, the two disorders tend to occur in the same families and in the same individual more often than predicted by chance. This suggests that psychotherapy guidelines developed for narcissistic personality disorder may also be effective for antisocial personality disorder.

On loneliness, narcissism, and intimacy
Article Abstract:
The experience of loneliness has not been adequately investigated using the psychoanalytic method. Theoretical controversies bias and unbalance the treatment of loneliness in practice. An understanding of loneliness is hindered by conventions of linguistic terminology used to describe experiential differences. Loneliness is difficult to define and explain.
