Disorders eating in adolescent males from a school-based sample
Article Abstract:
Three randomly selected samples of adolescent males were examined in terms of disordered eating behaviors and attitudes. Specifically, the study sought to identify adolescent males who manifested these behaviors and to determine whether there is a relationship between disordered eating and higher weight. Disordered eating among men was also compared to that among women to determine if is also related to body dissatisfaction, poor interoceptive awareness and negative emotionality.

The effect of deprivation on food cravings and eating behavior in restrained and unrestrained eaters
Article Abstract:
An investigation was conducted to observe the relation between being deprived of a food intake and craving for that food in restrained and unrestrained eaters. Restrained eaters were found to experience more cravings and succumb to it than unrestrained eaters, thereby concluding deprivation causing craving and overeating, specially in restrained eaters.
