Dominance affects determiner selection in language production
Article Abstract:
Determiner selection within the different morphological domains diminutive formation and plural reflection is investigated. A brief discussion of the current theories and experimental evidence on the processing of gender information and the selection of gender-marked determinants in language production is presented.

The length of a complex word modifies the role of morphological structure: evidence from eye movements when reading short and long Finnish compounds
Article Abstract:
The part played by morphology in processing short and in long compound Finnish words was studied by observing eye movements. The results showed a consistently different pattern for long and short compounds, confirming that word length is a factor that affects morphological processing.

Morphological parsing and the use of segmentation cues in reading Finnish compounds
Article Abstract:
The use of two types of segmentation cues in processing long Finnish compounds is investigated. The cues were related to the vowel quality properties of the constituents and properties of the consonant starting the second constituent.
