Emotional overeating and its associations with eating disorder psychopathology among overweight patients with binge eating disorder
Article Abstract:
Emotional overeating in overweight patients with binge eating disorder (BED), internal consistency, and test-retest reliability and factor structure is examined and its associations with eating disorder psychopathology, depression and gender are explored. The results suggest that emotional overeating is significantly associated with binge frequency, eating disorder features, and depression, but is not related to body mass index or gender.
