Physical activity and its correlates in treatment-seeking obese patients with binge eating disorder
Article Abstract:
A study conducted examined the physical activity levels reported by obese individuals with binge eating disorder (BED) as well as the relationships between physical activity and body mass index (BMI), features of eating disorders and associated psychological variables. The treatment-seeking obese individuals suffering from BED reported considerably low levels of physical activity.

Body Checking Questionnaire: Psychometric properties and clinical correlates in obese men and women with binge eating disorder
Article Abstract:
An examination is conducted of the initial psychometric properties of the Body Checking Questionnaire (BCQ) and the frequency and nature of body checking behaviors in obese men and women with binge eating disorders. The existence of significant gender and age-related differences in both the frequency and correlates of body checking behaviors are found.
