Family dysfunction and bulimic psychopathology: the mediating role of shame
Article Abstract:
An investigation of the roles of shame-proneness and internalized shame in the relationship between familial factors and bulimic psychopathology in a nonclinical group of women is presented. It appears that shame plays a key but complex role in the connection between perceived parental style and bulimic psychopathology.
