Empirical correlates of low scores on MMPI-2 scales in an outpatient mental health setting
Article Abstract:
Test interpreters of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) clinical scales have focused on scores that are higher than average, although little attention has been given to the meaning of scores that are lower than average. An examination of the meaning of low scores on some MMPI-2 scales has now been undertaken, based on comparisons of therapists descriptors of 669 mental health outpatients. For some scales low scores did not provide any useful meaning, while for other scales, low scorers exhibited fewer symptoms and negative characteristics than those with normal scores.

Assessing the personality psychopathology five (PSY-5) in adolescents: New MMP1-A scales
Article Abstract:
The Personality Psychopathology Five (PSY-5) is a dimensional model of personality. Replicated rational selection was used to determine further items from questions unique to MMP1-A.
