Evidence-based approaches to assessing couple distress
Article Abstract:
A study evolved a conceptual framework for couple-based assessment strategies, grounded in empirical findings linking couple distress to a broad range of both individual and relationship characteristics, which contributes to exacerbate, or result from relationship problems. The framework guides empirically supported assessment strategies and techniques emphasizing relationship functions across diverse methods, including clinical interview and analog behavioral observation.
