A randomized trial of a representational intervention to decrease cancer pain (RIDcancerPain)
Article Abstract:
The effectiveness of a representational intervention to decrease cancer pain (RIDcancerPain), which is formed on theories for cognitive representations of illness and conceptual change processes, is evaluated. Results showed that patients under RIDcancerPain demonstrated greater decreases in pain than those who are not. The need to strengthen RIDcancerPain is also discussed.
