Familial subtypes of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: A 4-year follow-up study of children from antisocial-ADHD families
Article Abstract:
Clinical and epidemiologic studies have consistently observed comorbidity between attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and conduct disorder (CD). It is suggested that ADHD with antisocial comorbidity may be distinct from other ADHD forms. A previous study of a family-based stratification defining antisocial families as those with either conduct disorder or antisocial personality disorder, has been extended to asses the predictive validity of the subtyping scheme, after four years from initial assessment. Probands and siblings of antisocial families showed higher rates of psychopathology compared to siblings from non-antisocial and control families.

Clinical correlates of enuresis in ADHD and non-ADHD children
Article Abstract:
Clinical implications of enuresis differ for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) and non ADHD children. A study of 140 boys, 6-17 years old, with DSM-111-R-ADHD and 120 non-ADHD controls shows that enuresis does not increase the risk for psychopathology in children with or without ADHD and it is not related with developmental immaturity or psychological adversity. Enuresis is associated with enhanced risks for learning disability, impaired intellectual functioning and school performance in normal control children but not in ADHD children. The results held the same pattern even after the children were stratified by clinical status.

Performance of children with ADHD on the Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure: a pilot neuropsychological study
Article Abstract:
The scores of boys with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD) on the Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure is compared to the scores of normal boys. Familiality and comorbid psychiatric and learning disorders in the ADHD sample are taken into account. The results show that ADHD boys did not perform as well as non-ADHD children in Copy Organization and Recall Style, while ADHD boys with learning disorders (LD) scored lower than study participants without LD.
