Injury risk among children of low-income U.S.-born and immigrant mothers
Article Abstract:
The one aspect of immigrant health that is risk for pediatric injury among children in immigrant families is represented. It is found that non-White children of immigrants have significantly lower rate of injury in the prior years and three possible mediators for this findings are considered but none explain the difference, also need for further research on the topic and implications of results for injury prevention are discussed.

HIV-related stigma among market workers in China
Article Abstract:
HIV-related stigma that was examined among 209 employees and owners of stalls in five markets in an eastern coastal city of China is described. It was found that being male, older, married, less educated and unwilling to be tested for HIV was related to punishing beliefs toward persons living with HIV.
