Assessing children's appraisals of security in the family system: The development of the security in the family system (SIFS) scales
Article Abstract:
The psychometric properties of the Security in the Family System (SIFS) scales, a new measured designed to assess children's appraisals of security in their family as a whole, is introduced and tested. SIFS is a psychometrically sound tool capable of advancing family process models and family security is a viable construct whose factors parallel already-identified patterns of children's security in other family relationships.

Exploring selective attention in ADHD: visual search through space and time
Article Abstract:
A study to compare the performance of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and non-clinical controls on a visual search task in three conditions was carried out. Results showed that children with ADHD were slower than controls but the reaction time (RT) revealed no difference in search mechanism.
