Article Abstract:
Research was conducted to investigate the impact of education on 12,686 young men and women who participated in a National Longitudinal Survey of Youth study beginning Jan 1, 1979 and continued annually until 1990. Results initially suggested that black future education decreased in the high school years. However, the results reversed in their college years with blacks gaining more benefits than white college students.
