Poor social comparison and the tendency to submissive behavior in anorexia nervosa
Article Abstract:
A study to show that people suffering from anorexia nervosa have low social ranking, compare themselves unfavorably with others and are highly submissive is conducted. Findings reveal that traits in childhood like anxiety, obsessionality, and perfectionism could develop feeling like less effectiveness and low self-esteem that could result in anorexia nervosa.

An examination of the concept of central coherence in women with anorexia nervosa
Article Abstract:
A study aiming to measure central coherence in women with anorexia nervosa (AN) is presented. Results show that people suffering from AN showed weak performance in global processing but were superior in local processing.
