Priming via relational similarity: A copper horse is faster when seen through a glass eye
Article Abstract:
An investigation to understand whether relation priming is dependent on lexical similarity is presented. A discrepancy in results was observed in models in which conceptual relations are bound to the particular concepts that discover them, suggesting instead that conceptual relations do not depend on representational units which can be utilized by various and dissimilar concepts.

Metaphor comprehension as attributive categorization
Article Abstract:
The class-inclusion model claims that metaphors are comprehended by inclusion of the topic as a member of an attributive category named after and exemplified by the vehicle. In three experiments, participants rated the extent to which a topic concept is a member of a vehicle category.

Roosters, robins, and alarm clocks: Aptness and conventionality in metaphor comprehension
Article Abstract:
Conventionality and aptness are contrasted by trial and error for examining their roles in metaphor comprehension. The results supported the categorization model but they did not support the career of metaphor model.
