Psychological trauma in adolescence: familial disillusionment and loss of personal identity
Article Abstract:
This article details trauma theory and the factors that identify traumatized adolescents. A comparison of two case studies that deal with adolescent girls who experienced trauma reveals that the most important predictor of future resilience and positive adjustment is the dynamic of the parent-child relationship.
