Article Abstract:
The determinants, effects and the safeguards against the misuse of power by those who practice and teach group therapy are presented. The potential remedies that can be employed by those who practice and teach group therapy to minimize the potential of perpetuating the very situations that lead the patients into treatment are discussed.
