Reconciliation, relationship quality, and post conflict anxiety: Testing the integrated hypothesis in captive chimpanzees
Article Abstract:
The results of testing the integrated hypothesis in captive chimpanzees in the Arnhem Zoo, The Netherlands, by applying the standard PC/matched control (MC) method, support the integrated hypothesis, in that more valuable and compatible partners reconciled more often than less valuable and weakly compatible partners. It is suggested that while relationship quality determines post conflict anxiety, it is dependent on the role of the participants in the conflict.

Relationship between the fossil colobine Mesopithecus pentelicus and extant cercopithecoids, based on dental metrics
Article Abstract:
The affiliation between fossils and extant cercopithecoids at different systematic levels were explored by analyzing maxillary dental measurements from six specimens of Mesopithecus pentelicus, 64 cercopithecoids, 59 African colobines and 64 Asian colobines. One of the results confirmed that Mesopithecus was closer to Asian species than to African ones.
