Separable and unitary stimuli in nonmetric multiple-cue probability learning
Article Abstract:
There are no differences in results when separable and unitary stimuli are used in a probability dominated setting. However, it is more advisable to use unitary stimuli when different results and findings need to be combined into one configuration. Two experiments show that there is no established use of dimensions for separable stimuli. However, the same results incidentally show a major difference in the use of dimensions and patterns between the experiments. The studies also establish a pattern of lower information usage for more difficult fields.

Mental accounting and categorization
Article Abstract:
The decision-making process known as mental accounting is not particular to financial or economic situations. A study proves that mental accounting is actually a categorizing process employed by individuals to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of a given situation. Characteristics, theories and evaluations of mental accounting are discussed to show that economic decisions obtained using the categorization process are regularly influenced by a person's financial practices.

A social categorization explanation for framing effects in nested social dilemmas
Article Abstract:
A social categorization process to explain the framing effects in social dilemma has been proposed and tested. The theory was used to predict that the members of a collective would cooperate more when facing homogenous rather than heterogenous frames. It was shown that the social categorization theory can explain the influence of framing on cooperatives or the observed pattern of allocations.
