The Prescription Privilege Debate in Canada: The Voices of Today's and Tomorrow's Psychologists
Article Abstract:
A survey was conducted among Canadian psychologists and psychology students asking for their views as to whether psychologists should be allowed to prescribe drugs. The survey methodology is reviewed and the different viewpoints summarised. A majority, particularly among the clinical students, advocated lobbying for prescribing privileges.

An overview is presented on the psychological aspects of lying, including development and motivation, and the technologies used to detect lying, such as functional MRIs and polygraphy. The legal implications of research findings and the use of technologies are discussed.

The court for sexual offences: perceptions of the perpetrators of sexual offences
Article Abstract:
Offenders processed within South Africa's Court for Sexual Offenses perceive it to be excessively punitive in sentencing, biased, slow, and inefficient. Implications for research are discussed.
