The fallacy of reducing rape and violent recidivism by treating anger
Article Abstract:
Issues discussed concern the effectiveness of anger management programs on the reduction of recidivism among violent criminals and rapists. Topics addressed include the lack of decisive evidence supporting the link between anger and repeat crime, and results reveal no significant difference between the level of anger among violent and nonviolent offenders.

Cross-validation of the Self-Appraisal Questionnaire: A tool for assessing violent and nonviolent recidivism with female offenders
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to examine the psychometric properties of the Self-Appraisal Questionnaire (SAQ) in relation to its reliability for use with female offenders. Results reveal that the SAQ has good psychometric properties, with acceptable reliability and concurrent and predictive validity for assessing violent and nonviolent recidivism.
