The incidence of parental obesity on overweight individuals
Article Abstract:
A study designed to assess the incidence of obese parents in overweight adults finds that more female parents are obese, while the excess is more prevalent in black people. The sample also revealed a higher incidence of obese grandparents. The results of the study and the influence of genetic and environmental factors on the development of obesity are discussed.

Binge eating in children and adolescents
Article Abstract:
This article explores research conducted on binge eating in children and teenagers. The authors maintain the research suggests loss of control over eating may be more significant than consumption of a large amount of food in the diagnosis of pediatric binge eating.
