Validation of the Adult Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire and the Reasons for Living Inventory in an adult psychiatric inpatient sample
Article Abstract:
It is important to establish the validity of the Adult Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire (ASIQ) and the Linehan Reasons for Living Inventory (LRFL) in long-term car psychiatric inpatient samples. Research in this field has used confirmatory factor analytic (CFA) procedures, the first time a CFA strategy has been used to evaluate the original dimensions of LRFL and ASIQ. It was established that the original dimensions for ASIQ and LRFL gave only moderate fits to the observed data when the analyzes were undertaken at the item level. It was possible to identify a number of modifications to improve the fit of each model.

The pain behavior check list (PBCL): psychometric properties in a college sample
Article Abstract:
A study of the Pain Behavior Check List (PBCL) in a nonclinical college sample gives result in favor of the four-factor oblique model rather than' the one-factor on the four-factor orthogonal model. The PBCL total and subscales reveal proper internal consistency. The results of the confirmatory factor analyses indicate that self-report measures of pain are distinguishable from self-report measures of anxiety and depression.

Psychometric evaluation of the social phobia and anxiety inventory in college students
Article Abstract:
A study of the psychometric characteristics of the Social Phobia and Anxiety Inventory in two nonclinical college undergraduate subjects replicated the five-factor structure of the 32-item SP subscale. Confirmatory factor analysis shows that the five-factor structure of the SP and the two factor structure of SPAI are suitable for second sample data. The results are not common for all college students.
