What do groups learn from their worldliest members? Direct and indirect influence in dynamic teams
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the repercussions of temporary work group membership changes for itinerant group members who temporarily join a foreign group and for indigenous members of the origin and foreign groups are discussed. It was found that direct influence by itinerant members was reduced after they changed groups and had unique knowledge to share.

Pooling unshared information: the benefits of knowing how access to information is distributed among group members
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning information pooling in collective recall groups are discussed. Attention is given to the potential for expert roles to ease the pooling of unshared items through group discussion. Forewarning did not boost the pooling of unshared items during discussion, but had other beneficial effects.

Development of strategic norms in groups
Article Abstract:
An analysis of convergence in work group members' strategic orientations for solving problems is presented. It is argued that small differences in the statement of reinforcement contingencies can affect how both groups and individuals tackle tasks.
