Article Abstract:
Nine representatives from graphic art or designer firms discuss how the issue of ageism plays itself out in their industry. Roz Goldfarb of Roz Goldfarb Associates notes the difficulty untrained young people have in being hired and says that traditional reluctance to hire older people because of higher health insurance rates has diminished. The most important qualifying feature is whether the designer can change with the times and remain up-to-date.
